I bought a box of recipes from a church basement sale in Decatur, GA. Most of the recipes seem to date from the late 40's through WWII and into the 60's. I think sharing them on the blog is a great way of preserving the food of the era.

Eddith's Mustard Sauce
Served with Pantry Ham Loaf 2 eggs 2 tablespoons flour 1 tablespoon dry mustard 1 cup brown sugar 1 cup vinegar 1 cup consomme Combine ingredients and cook in double boiler over hot water until thick. Yield: 1 1/4 cups sauce.
